In December Facebook announced introduction of Stars Fest for video creators donation.

This will give creators opportunity to earn money for what they do – spending their time and giving something valuable to audience.

With help of stars people will show their support and appreciation to favorite authors.

At the current stage, stars allocation is eligible for Facebook Live, on-demand videos or Live Audio Rooms.

Company is also looking for possibility of making stars useable in more functions like videos in the News Feed, in Facebook Watch and within the Facebook Gaming tab.
