Instagram is planning to activate computer upload functionalities. 

Instagram was developed as a mobile application and retained its positions in this segment for years. There is no possibility to add posts, videos etc from your desktop computer yet. 

Despite huge inconvenience, the company was not considering its expansion to desktops. 

But it seems this will change soon.

Instagram is already testing features that allow photos and videos to be uploaded from a computer. 

Stories and Reels upload is out of scope of the current update, but let’s see what happens further.

Meanwhile there is a simple trick that allows you to overcome the limitation by simply activating mobile visibility mode from developer tools in your browsers.
